Antony Loewenstein آنتونی لوونستاین


آنتونی لوونستاین، مقیم سیدنی، روزنامه نگار آنلاین، نویسنده و بلاگریست که برای روزنامه های متعددی چون گاردین، واشنگتن پست، سیدنی مورنینگ هرالد و بسیاری دیگر می نویسد. کتاب اخیر او که اول سپتامبر، یعنی هفته گذشته، به بازار عرضه شد بسیار پرآوازه شده و منتقدان مهمی خواندن آنرا پیشنهاد کردند. کتاب که "انقلاب وبلاگنویسی" نام دارد تصویری از فعالیتهای بلاگرهایی در اطراف دنیا به خواننده می دهد که تحت هر شرایطی، حتی گاه با به خطر انداختن جانشان، به وبلاگنویسی به عنوان یکی از جدیترین رسانه ها نگاه می کنند. آنتونی در سال 2007 به خانه های ایرانیان و مهمانیهای مصریها سفر کرد، کافه نت های عربستان و دمشق را دید، به منزلهای مخالفان کوبایی رفت و از دفاتر روزنامه ها در چین دیدن کرد و از نزدیک با کارکرد اینترنت در این جوامع آشنا شد. او در کتاب اخیرش روایتهای دست اولی از روابط پیچیده شرکتهای "غربی" در کمک به دولتهای دیگر برای کنترل و سانسور اینترنت به دست می دهد و به نقش بلاگرها در اطلاعرسانی و تلاش آنها برای تغییر بسیاری از روندهای اجتماعی و سیاسی می پردازد. چنانکه در جایی از کتاب می نویسد : "در تمام دنیا، نسلهای جوانتر از طریق نوشتن در فضای آنلاین با رسانه های دولتی مبارزه می کنند و درباره موضوعات مختلفی چون سیاست، سکس، مواد مخدر، روابط ، مذهب، فرهنگ عامه و بخصوص آنجلینا جولی می نویسند. از فعالان مخالف ختنه زنان در مصر گرفته تا زنان موافق غرب در کوبا، همگی در حال تجهیز به تکنولوژی جدید هستند تا فضایی آزاد از هرگونه نفوذ قدرتها خلق کنند"


آنتونی لوونستاین به طور بسیار فعال وبلاگ خود را به روز نگه می دارد و با ارتباطات وسیعی که با بلاگرها از اقصی نقاط دنیا دارد جدیدترین اخبار روز را در عرصه های مختلف وبلاگنویسی دنبال می کند و درباره آنها بحث می کند.سر زدن به وبلاگ مفصل او که شامل تمام مصاحبه ها و نوشته هایش در روزنامه ها و سایتهای مختلف است برای تمام کسانی که با دیدگاههای مختلف دنیای وبلاگنویسی را دنبال می کنند منبع کم نظیری از مقالات و بحثهای روز در این زمینه است


Antony Loewenstein is a Sydney-based journalist, writer and blogger who has written for many well known newspapers like Guardian, Washington Post, Sydney Morning Herald and many others. His recent book, released officially on September first, has been recommended by many famous critics. The book “The Blogging Revolution” gives the reader a colourful picture of what is going around the world of blogging especially with bloggers who might even risk their lives by blogging their ideas. He has been to Iranian houses and private parties in Egypt, Café nets in Saudi Arabia and Syria, houses of dissidents in Cuba and journal offices in China.
